COVID-19 Vaccine

The COVID-19 Vaccine is Now Available. 

The vaccine is safe, has minimal side effects, and is offered at no cost. Weld County has the COVID vaccine available. Anyone 16 or older is eligible. 

The Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment has the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines available Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. - noon and 1:00-4:30 p.m. Appointments are preferred but walk-ins can be accommodated. To make an appointment to receive the vaccine at the Health Department Clinic, please call (970) 304-6420.

WCDPHE is also hosting pop-up clinics at several locations across the county. These clinics are free and no appointments are required; you can just walk up! If you have questions, call (970) 304-6420.

The High Plains Library District's Bookmobile will be set up at the Carbon Valley Rec Center on August 3, 2021 from 2:30pm-4:00pm offering COVID-19 vaccines. Appointments, ID, and/or insurance will not be required.

There will be a COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic on August 14, 2021 from 1:00pm-4:00pm at the Carbon Valley Regional Library in Firestone. No appointments, insurance, and/or ID is required.
