A Forward-Thinking Community
The City of Dacono has intentionally positioned itself to develop a 21st Century live/work community with the amenities and housing diversity that buyers are looking for.
Housing options range from starter homes, to patio, paired and larger homes featuring loft, den, basement, three-car and oversized garage options. New homes are being built and can be customized to meet a range of tastes, lifestyles and budgets.
From Pocket Parks to Golf Courses
While pocket parks are located in most neighborhoods, the biggest hit has been the Splash Park that was built at the request of some of the City’s youngest residents! Dacono is also close to the Carbon Valley Recreation Center. There are 15 nearby golf courses including Saddleback, Bella Rosa, Colorado National, Indian Peaks, Buffalo Run, Riverdale, Omni Interlocken, Eagle Trace, Broadlands, Sunset, Todd Creek and others.
Convenient Commuting
Dacono is conveniently located near I-25, E-470, Colorado Blvd and State Highway 52, making commuting to Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins and Denver International Airport a quick and easy commute.
In-Town Fun
Dacono is home to the Colorado National Speedway, Dacono BMX sports complex, IMI Motorsports Complex and Blitz Paintball. The City also hosts events throughout the year such as the Carbon Valley Holiday Festival, Carbon Valley Music & Spirits Festival, and National Night Out.
Safest City in Colorado
In September 2016, Dacono was rated as the safest city in the entire state. “Despite its size, the police department offers a variety of programs such as House Watch, Citizen Police Academy and Santa Cops to keep crime low and promote good community relations, according to the New York-based data analysis company ValuePenguin. The City also hosts “National Night Out” offering families and neighbors the opportunity to get to know their first responders and enjoy a free outdoor movie.
Businesses and Employment Opportunities
Located in Weld County, Dacono is “Pro Business” and “Pro Growth.” The City of Dacono is dedicated to achieving the highest quality of development, infrastructure, and quality of life for its citizens. These goals are met, in part, through the enhancement and expansion of the local economy. Because of the inherent competition between localities for new businesses and jobs, the City recognizes that incentives are sometimes necessary to allow a community to reach its full economic potential. The City of Dacono wants to help businesses grow and thrive and to this end has a Business Assistance Policy to provide eligible businesses with financial assistance to offset land use, building permit, and several impact fees.
