1. What is the population of Dacono?: The 2020 population of the City of Dacono is 6,340. The growth rate for Dacono between 2015 and 2020 was 5.3 percent compared to 3.1 percent for Weld County and 1/2 percent for the State of Colorado.

Where is Dacono located?: Dacono is located just 20 miles north of downtown Denver, the city's transportation infrastructure offers easy access to major interstate highways, Denver International Airport, and passenger and freight railroad systems. Interstate 25 is a four-lane interstate freeway that provides the primary north-south connection along the Front Range of Colorado. Other major highways/interstates near the Dacono area include:

Where is the closest shopping and dining?: In addition to local dining options like Daylight Donuts, Jerry D’s, El Taco Loco II, and Gabe’s Café, nearby shopping and dining can be found at The Orchard Town Center offering everything from bistros to burgers, Larkridge Shopping Center featuring an outdoor pedestrian mall, the Grove with Cabela’s as its anchor and Furniture Row.
Also nearby are Burrito Delight, Georgia Boys BBQ Company, Pete’s Place, Santiagos, Echo Brewing Company. LA Chinese Restaurant & Pho, and Hammer Time Pizza and Peel.

How many and what kind of parks and recreation are available?: Pocket parks are located in most neighborhoods, and the big summer hit is always the Splash Park that was built at the request of some of the City’s youngest residents. Dacono is also close to the Carbon Valley Recreation Center and there are 15 nearby golf courses including Saddleback, Bella Rosa, Colorado National, Indian Peaks, Buffalo Run, Riverdale, Omni Interlocken, Eagle Trace, Broadlands, Sunset, Todd Creek and others.

What housing options are available?: Having recently adopted the “Dacono Forward Comprehensive Plan,” the City of Dacono has intentionally positioned itself to develop a 21st century live/work community with the amenities and housing diversity that buyers are looking for.
